A Princeton woman was arrested Wednesday night after police say she stole items from a home on Garrett Street.
Princeton Police Assistant Chief Shane Allison says officers responded to a residence near the 200 block of Garrett Street for a burglary complaint at 6:00 p.m. The victim reportedly told police that two space heaters and a VCR/DVD player had been stolen from his residence.
Based on information from the victim, Allison says officers made contact with 43-year old Darnetta Foster shortly after 7:00 and discovered the stolen items in plain view inside her vehicle.
Foster was taken into custody and booked into the Caldwell County Jail charged with second-degree burglary and violating a Kentucky Emergency Protection Order.
