Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron is set to launch a human trafficking awareness campaign Monday.
The statewide Your Eyes Save Lives campaign will focus on human trafficking awareness and training to mobilize citizens, law enforcement, and community leaders to recognize and report signs of human trafficking.
The unveiling is set for Monday morning at 9:30 in collaboration with House Majority Caucus Chair Suzanne Miles and Senator Wil Schroder, both of whom championed measures to update the state’s human trafficking laws in House Bill 2 last year.
The Your Eyes Save Lives campaign is fully funded by a grant from the Department of Justice’s Office of Community Oriented Policing Services, which was awarded in July.
