Officials from Jennie Stuart Health provided a COVID-19 update during the Christian County Health Department news conference Wednesday afternoon.
Marketing Director Selina Staub says as of Wednesday morning, the hospital had 30 COVID-positive patients, down from the recent record of 42.
Staub adds they have administered the first round of vaccines to employees that wanted them and will begin the second round soon. The hospital is also vaccinating new employees as they begin their jobs with the hospital.
Staub says to date, they have conducted 14,012 COVID-19 tests at Jennie Stuart Health.
