Jackpots for Mega Millions and Powerball continue to climb, with both combined sitting near $1.5 billion.
Chip Polston, Senior Vice President of Communications for the Kentucky Lottery, tells the News Edge the estimated Mega Millions jackpot is the second-largest, and the Powerball jackpot is the fourth-largest.
Polston adds if you were to win either of the jackpots, it takes about two weeks to receive the money.
Polston says there are a lot of things you will have to do if you win either jackpot.
The jackpot for Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing is $865 million, while Wednesday night’s Powerball is $730 million.
