An investigation into a stolen trailer led to the arrest of two men on Butler Road Tuesday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they recovered a trailer that had been stolen on Palmyra Road in December.
39-year-old Norman Johnson of Hopkinsville was arrested in connection to the stolen trailer and charged with theft by unlawful taking.
During the investigation, 41-year-old Richard Scott was also arrested after deputies say he attempted to conceal drugs by throwing them in a Crown Royal bag underneath a vehicle.
Inside the bag authorities reportedly found marijuana, suspected meth residue along with drug paraphernalia. Scott is charged with possession of marijuana and tampering with physical evidence.
