Emergency managers in Trigg and Christian counties are not expecting roads to get much better Tuesday.
Trigg County Emergency Management Director David Bryant tells the News Edge roads are extremely bad across the county.
Bryant adds the county has a plan to open a shelter if the need exists.
Christian County Emergency Management Director Randy Graham says roads across the county are also very slick and hazardous.
Graham adds in Christian County, the Salvation Army in Hopkinsville is open as a warming shelter for anyone who needs it.
Regardless of efforts by local and state crews, winter weather makes a harsh return Wednesday with more snow and possibly freezing rain or sleet.
