The National Weather Service in Paducah is offering a way virtually to bring a meteorologist to the classroom.
The virtual school talks will be held on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you are interested in hosting one of the talks and your school is in the NWS Paducah service area, click here.
NWS officials said depending on the volume of requests submitted; they may not be able to accommodate everyone in the time frame they need due to staff limitations and workload.
In the event of hazardous weather, the virtual visit could be canceled, but officials added they would do their best to let you know ahead of time.
