A Hopkinsville man was charged after he reportedly hit a child with a vehicle on Central Avenue in Hopkinsville Sunday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 41-year-old Jamie Manson hit a 12-year-old that was on a moped then picked the juvenile up and slammed him on the ground.
He reportedly told the child “this is for throwing footballs at my house.”
Police say the child suffered very minor injuries. Manson was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment.
