The region will warm up with some spring-like temperatures this week, after one of the longest spells of arctic temperatures in decades.
Weather Edge forecaster David Powell says the arctic weather has made its way north back to Canada. He adds the region will see sunshine through most of the week.
Powell says the system Thursday night may bring a few snowflakes, but no accumulation is expected. The next system of concern could begin Sunday night.
