The Christian County Health Department is now allowing Kentucky residents 60 or older to get COVID-19 vaccines at their regional clinic.
Spokesperson Amanda Sweeney Brunt said due to an increase in appointment availability; the department is now opening vaccine appointment slots for those residents. She added they would move to the rest of the categories included in the 1C phase later.
The health department is only vaccinating by appointment; no walk-ins are accepted. Brunt said appointments scheduled that do not meet phase criteria might be canceled without notice.
