The City of Hopkinsville will reopen city offices and resume in-person city council and other meetings beginning Monday.
Hopkinsville Mayor Wendell Lynch tells the News Edge the spread of COVID-19 has slowed down across the city and county.
Lynch feels optimistic about everything re-opening as the pandemic threat continues to decrease with the distribution of vaccines. As for moving the city forward and past the pandemic, there is a plan he will share with city council members next month.
Lynch adds conversations with local business owners and residents across the city have led to his plans. City council members will consider his plan at future meetings.
