A traffic stop on Pennyrile Parkway near the Lovers Lane exit led to an Oak Grove man and woman being charged with trafficking drugs Thursday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 24-year-old Blanca Austin was stopped for going 20 mph over the speed limit and found to have half a pound of marijuana, a firearm, and a large amount of money.
Authorities say two children were also in the vehicle at the time of the stop.
Blanca Austin and her passenger 25-year-old Caleb Austin were charged with trafficking marijuana and two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor.
