Christian County is up twelve new COVID-19 cases from the weekend and Monday.
In an update from the Christian County Health Department, spokesperson Amanda Sweeney Brunt said the county had 140 active cases Monday afternoon. She added 84 of the active cases are among the 22 to 59 age group, while 35 are 21 or younger and 21 are 60 or older.
The county is nearing 6,000 recoveries, with 5,937 residents recovering since the onset of the pandemic. Christian County has also reported 79 total COVID-related deaths.
