Kentucky Reports 920 New COVID-19 Cases Friday

Kentucky announced a testing positivity rate Friday that continues to decline.

Governor Andy Beshear said the state should be proud of the progress made against this virus. He added everyone needs to keep up the commitment until we reach the finish line.

Beshear confirmed 920 new COVID-19 cases and 22 COVID-related deaths Friday. The testing positivity rate fell to 4.25-percent.

Currently, there are 606 Kentuckians hospitalized, 179 in the ICU, and 76 on a ventilator.
