The AUSA Fort Campbell Chapter has named a new executive director of the organization.
Charlie Koon, president of the AUSA Fort Campbell Chapter, announced Tina Englen will serve in the position. He says Englen previously served as the executive director of Operation Homefront and a consultant for the Combined Federal Campaign.
Koon says Englen’s experience working with organizations that serve the military will be a huge asset for their organization.
Englen says she is excited to join the AUSA Fort Campbell Chapter team and look forward to growing their chapter.
Englen and her husband Doug live in Clarksville and have been married for 33 years. They have four children and three grandchildren.
The Kentucky-Tennessee Chapter was formed in 1960 with Edward Norman of Clarksville serving as the first president, followed by William G. Deatherage, Sr., of Hopkinsville.
In 2013, officials say the chapter was renamed the Fort Campbell Chapter to accurately reflect the population that is served.
The Chapter office is located on Fort Campbell at 95 Michigan Avenue.
