Deputies are investigating a wreck on Greenville Road that happened shortly after a report of shots fired Thursday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a shot was fired from a truck at the intersection of Cave Street and Greenville Road just before 10 pm.
Shortly after a northbound truck on Greenville Road reportedly ran off the road hitting several mailboxes, a sign, then a fence, and a metal awning near Cave Run Drive.
Deputies say they are continuing to investigate but believe the truck in the crash is connected to the shot fired.
The driver of the truck was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for injuries from the crash.
Deputies say no property was damaged and no one was injured when the shot was fired on Cave Street.
