A weak cold front moved across the region early Thursday morning and brought some rain with it.
According to the Kentucky Mesonet, the area received anywhere from .3 inches to just under an inch of rain before the front moved through.
Weather Edge forecaster David Powell says more rain and storms will move in from Friday afternoon to at least Saturday night.
As we head into next week, Powell adds there looks to be a cooling trend.
