Police have released the name of a Vine Grove woman and child injured in a wreck on US 68 at the intersection of Broadbent Boulevard Friday afternoon.
Cadiz Police say a car driven by 23-year-old Peyton Gallogly was eastbound on US 68 when it collided with a westbound van driven by 60-year-old David Myers of Benton that was turning onto Broadbent Boulevard from US 68.
The crash sent the car off the road and into a ditch.
Gallogly and her 4-year-old passenger were taken by ambulance to Trigg County Hospital for what police say are minor injuries.
The crash happened just before 6 pm.
