All lanes of Kentucky 293 in Lyon County are open after both lanes were blocked because of a semi-truck fire Wednesday morning.
District 1 spokesman Keith Todd with the state’s Transportation Cabinet reported just before 9:00 a.m. the fire was along KY 293 between Interstate 24 Eddyville Exit 45 near the Dollar General Store just East of the KY 93 intersection.
He said the truck was loaded with furniture, and both lanes of KY 293 were blocked while firefighters were on the scene.
According to Todd, all lanes reopened around 1:40 Wednesday afternoon.
