A Hopkinsville man was charged with assaulting his girlfriend on East 9th Street in Hopkinsville Wednesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the home for a report of a disturbance and found a woman with a large bruise on her face.
35-year-old Anthony Robinson reportedly got into a disagreement with her and hit her. Robinson was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.
