The Trigg County Chamber of Commerce and Cadiz-Trigg County Economic Development Commission helped a family-owned business celebrate its 30th anniversary Friday.
Ethridge Plastics and Hydrographic Dipping started small with late family patriarch J.T. Ethridge but quickly expanded and has spent over two decades at 165 Industrial Drive. J.T.’s sons Edward and Jerry, continue to run the business where they produce plastic parts and dip many items through hydrographic design.
Trigg County Chamber Director Beth Sumner told the News Edge it’s important to highlight businesses in the community.
Edward Ethridge previously told the News Edge they would continue to run the business as long as they can. Over the years, Ethridge Plastics has made parts for many well-known brands, including Knight & Hale game calls, and currently makes parts for the federal government. The hydrographic part of the business will dip almost anything that’s not electronic, including four-wheelers, guns, and toilets.
Sumner, who recently began her new job with the Chamber, said they have several activities planned for the spring and summer.
Sumner said they would have some chamber awards this year that the public will vote on, with more information to be released soon.
