Two new assistant principals have been named at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School in Christian County.
School principal Carrie Caples said Stephanie Blanton and Laura Jenkins had been selected for the 2021-2022 school year.
Blanton has been a teacher at MLK for the last 13 years and served in a reading/math interventionist position. Jenkins has 23 years of experience in education as a teacher and an assistant principal and currently serves as the Transition Readiness Coach at Christian County High School.
