The Pennyrile District Health Department reported a total of 35 active coronavirus cases around its five-county district as of Friday afternoon.
According to the health department’s weekly summary, twelve of those current COVID-19 cases are in Trigg County with one hospitalized. A total of 1,256 cases of the virus have been confirmed in Trigg County since the pandemic began, 1,230 have recovered, and fourteen deaths have been linked to COVID-19.
Elsewhere around the district, Caldwell and Crittenden counties are reporting five cases each, and four cases are currently active in Lyon County.
