Five Dawson Springs residents were arrested after law enforcement received tips about drug trafficking at a home on Nortonville Road.

Detectives with the Madisonville-Hopkins County Vice/Narcotics Unit say they began receiving Crime Stopper tips in November of last year regarding 52-year old Charles “Jeff” Parker and his son, 28-year old Jeffery Parker, trafficking methamphetamine in Hopkins County.

During the investigation, detectives obtained a search warrant for Parker’s residence in the 12000 block of Nortonville Road in Dawson Springs and reportedly seized over a quarter pound of meth, multiple firearms and drug paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.
