The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has announced an eastbound lane closure along a section of Interstate 24 in Christian County.
District 2 spokeswoman Keirsten Jaggers said the lane closure would occur at the 72.7-mile point. Jaggers added the closure is necessary for concrete repairs at the bridge approach, with work expected to be finished Wednesday. Crews will be on-site each day from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The transportation cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays, and utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
