Heritage Christian Academy has named John Walsh as its Headmaster.
HCA officials say Walsh is currently the Assistant Principal at Pembroke Elementary School but will be transitioning into his role as HCA’s Headmaster in July.
Walsh graduated from Western Kentucky in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Religious Studies. Officials say he also has a Masters of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, as well as a Masters of Arts in Special Education from Murray State University, Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership Level 1 from Murray State University, and Educational Leadership Level 2 from Western Kentucky University.
According to HCA officials, Walsh’s educational career began in the classroom and progressed to serving both a middle and elementary school assistant principal for the past eight years. Walsh has also served in pastoring several churches in Christian County.
Walsh says he’s excited for the opportunity to join the HCA family as Headmaster. He adds, as a parent of two HCA graduates, he looks forward to continuing the tradition of excellence in education with a strong Biblical foundation.
The school year at Heritage Christian Academy will begin on August 10.
