The Trigg County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting Saturday morning for Hard Luck Coffee Shop.
Dave and Allison Holt are the owners of the cafe located at 1939-C Main Street in Cadiz across from Food Giant.
Allison says they thought their business would be a great addition to the community, where Dave’s family had previously operated a successful business.
Hard Luck is hosting a soft-opening this weekend, open Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Allison adds they plan on launching the full menu of items next Saturday, June 5.
During the ribbon-cutting, Cadiz Mayor Todd King presented Dave and Allison a key to the city.
