Kentucky continues to move toward Governor Andy Beshear’s goal of 2.5 million vaccinated residents.
According to the latest COVID-19 report Saturday 2,038,886 state residents have received their first shot of COVID-19 vaccine. According to the latest report Christian County remains at the bottom of the list with a vaccination rate of 19 percent. Ballard County is the only other western Kentucky county in the bottom five with 21 percent.
Governor Beshear says 383 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed on Saturday, with the state positivity rate at 2.49 percent.
