Two juveniles were injured in an ATV crash on East Parkview Drive in Hopkinsville Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 11-year-old Heavenly Owen was northbound on an ATV when it ran off the road hitting several mailboxes.
The crash reportedly caused Owen and her passenger 6-year-old India Croney to be thrown from the ATV.
They both fled the area on the ATV after the crash and were later located. Owen and Croney were taken by private vehicle to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for head and jaw pain.
Police say ATV’s are not approved to be on the roadway regardless of the age of the operator.
