A Hopkinsville man was charged after he reportedly assaulted and choked his girlfriend Monday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 44-year-old Alprestonia Butler choked a woman and assaulted her at a home on Bryan Street.
Butler was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault and first-degree strangulation.
