Three Christian County Public School students recently earned music scholarships.
Both Anthony Darnell, director of bands at Christian County High School, and Grant Jones, director of bands at Hopkinsville High School, made the announcements Monday.
Christian County High School Colonel Band member Ashley Phan has accepted a full scholarship to Austin Peay State University to study music. At the same time, Hopkinsville High School Tiger Band member Jared Chance-Martin received a full scholarship to Murray State University to study music.
Joining Chance-Martin at Murray State is CCHS Colonel Band member Austin Wright who was awarded a scholarship package to study music.
