Trigg County Hospital is continuing the private room project, which will bring six additional patient rooms.
Hospital Administrator John Sumner shared an update of the project with the board of trustees Thursday.
The project has already received a $100,000 grant from the Pennyrile Area Development District and will also add two shower rooms and a nurses’ station.
Sumner added the hospital is also working on an area to conduct all COVID-19 testing at the Trigg County Primary Care building.
Sumner said they are also hosting Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine clinics for those 12 and older.
