The Todd County Water District has issued a Boil Water Advisory for a portion of the county due to infrastructure improvements.
According to officials, the Advisory is in effect immediately for water customers beginning at the intersection of Greenville Road/Highway 181 and Todd Deerlick Road/Highway 107, including all of the area north and connecting roads to the east of the intersection. This includes the area of Tyewhoppety, Deer Lick, Jason Ridge, Dunmor, and Lake Malone.
The Advisory is in effect until further notice.
When a Boil Water Advisory is issued drinking water should be allowed to boil three minutes before use.
