Three Injured In Interstate 24 Crash

Deputies have released the names of three people injured in a wreck on Interstate 24 a mile east of the Pennyrile Parkway exit Sunday morning.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a car driven by Mariaha Moore of Hopkinsville was westbound when it hydroplaned and hit the cable barriers in the median.

The car came to a stop in the roadway and was then hit by a westbound van driven by James ONeal of Springfield, Missouri.

A passenger in Moore’s car Maurizio Forte of Hopkinsville along with two passengers in ONeal’s vehicle Aiden Neal of Springfield, Missouri, and Stacey Higgins of Springfield, Montana, were taken by ambulance to Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville with what deputies say are non-life-threatening injuries.

Deputies say weather conditions were a factor in the crash. The crash happened just before 1 am.
