A traffic stop on Butler Road in Christian County led to drug charges for a Hopkinsville man Monday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle for speeding and during the stop found a syringe along with a substance consistent with meth.
A passenger in the vehicle 43-year-old Alvin Powell reportedly admitted the items were his.
He is charged with possession of meth, failure to wear a seatbelt, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
