The Comeback Job Fair will take place Thursday, and organizers say numerous jobs and companies will be represented during the six-hour event.
Sharon Butts, from the South Western Kentucky Economic Development Council, tells the News Edge the job fair will take place at the James E. Bruce Convention Center in Hopkinsville from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Butts says there will be over 80 companies in attendance and over 2,000 jobs available.
Many job sectors will be represented during the job fair.
Butts adds companies are trying everything they can to get employees.
In addition to the job fair, there will be a career center set up at the Bruce Convention Center.
Butts offers some tips for those looking for a job.
In addition to the South Western Kentucky EDC, the Comeback Job Fair is also sponsored by the Edge Media Group, West Kentucky Workforce, Hopkinsville Community College, Lake Barkley Partnership, and the Kentucky Career Center.
