The Boil Water Advisory issued earlier this week for nearly 800 Barkley Lake Water District customers in northern Trigg County has been lifted.
Superintendent John Herring tells the News Edge the advisory was lifted Thursday afternoon. It was issued after a contractor struck a main water line at the McUpton Pump Station Tuesday morning.
Herring adds all tests conducted on the water have come back with no issues and that services are fully restored to customers who may have been experiencing low water pressure.
