The annual Cadiz Field of Flags is up and going, and there is still plenty of space for residents to purchase a flag to honor loved ones.
Curt Holmes with American Legion Post 74 tells the News Edge they have had a good response so far.
Holmes adds you can purchase a flag for $25 each in the field across from Hancock’s Neighborhood Market.
The flags will remain standing at the Blue Star Memorial Gardens until Saturday, July 10.
Flags will be available for purchase through Independence Day. They are 3′ by 5′ American-made flags and fly on 8′ poles.
