The Secretary of State’s office reports Republicans outnumber Democrats in Trigg County, with Democrats still holding Christian, Caldwell, Todd, and Lyon Counties.
According to the May 2021 voter registration statistics, there were 6,199 registered Republicans in Trigg County in May, with 5,524 Democrats, 463 Independents, and 450 registered as other. There are 12,743 registered voters in Trigg County, with 6,610 women and 6,116 men.
There are 56,145 registered voters in Christian, with 27,638 Democrats, 22,093 Republicans, 2006 Independents, and 3,958 registered as other. Christian County has 30,841 women registered to vote and 22,268 men.
In Caldwell County there are 10,327 registered voters, with 5,669 Democrats, 3,989 Republicans, 229 Independents, and 405 registered as other. Caldwell County has 5,441 registered female voters and 4,878 registered female voters.
Todd County has 9,073 registered voters, with 5,283 Democrats, 3,162 Republicans, 1690 Independents, and 421 registered as other. Women outnumbered male voters in Todd County 4,798 to 4,273.
And Lyon County has 6,694 registered voters, with 3,535 Democrats, 2,657 Republicans, 183 Independents, and 303 registered as other. In Lyon County women outnumber men 3,451 to 3,232.
Statewide there are 3,560,376 registered voters, with 1,652,069 Democrats, 1,575,249 Republicans, 130,908 Independents, and 184,381 other.
