A Hopkinsville man died at the hospital after an incident involving fireworks on Nelson Drive in Hopkinsville Wednesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 31-year-old David Williams suffered severe head injuries after a mortar-style firework he was holding hit him in the head.
Williams was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by ambulance to be flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville where he later died from his injuries.
