A wreck on Mount Zoar Latham Road in Christian County sent a woman and child to the hospital Friday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a car was exiting a driveway when it was hit by a vehicle on Mount Zoar Latham Road.
The vehicle on the roadway fled the area but was later located by deputies and the driver was arrested and charged with DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.
The driver and passenger in the car exiting the driveway were taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for what deputies say are non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash happened just before 5 pm.
