A Canyon, Texas, woman was charged after she reportedly assaulted a woman at a hotel on Griffin Bell Drive in Hopkinsville Saturday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 56-year-old Michelle Mixon assaulted a woman she used to date causing visible marks all over her face, arms, and neck.
Nixon also reportedly kept the woman’s phone and would not let her call for help.
She is charged with fourth-degree assault, first-degree strangulation, and intimidating a participant in a legal process.
