A Hopkinsville woman was charged with possession of drugs after she called for police Saturday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 40-year-old Tracey Johnson claimed her 15-year-old son had been kidnapped and pulled into a room at a hotel on Griffin Bell Drive.
After checking the room it was found the son was not there. Police say Johnson appeared to be under the influence of some kind of intoxicant.
A search of her room reportedly led to meth being found. She is charged with public intoxication, possession of meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
