The body of a Princeton man who was reportedly ejected from his boat on Lake Barkley Saturday has been recovered.
Officials with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife say the body of 31-year old Dustin Fox was found around 11:20 Sunday morning near the mouth of Davenport Bay.
Conservation officers previously reported Fox had been missing since Saturday afternoon when witnesses said he fell overboard, was hit by the boat, and didn’t resurface. Witnesses also told officers there were no passengers on the boat.
When conservation officers arrived on the scene they found the unmanned boat going around in circles near Davenport Bay.
Officials say an autopsy will be conducted and the incident remains under investigation.
Lyon County Search and Rescue assisted Kentucky Fish and Wildlife conservation officers with the search and recovery efforts.
