A near-capacity crowd at the historic Alhambra Theatre in downtown Hopkinsville enjoyed a Saturday evening full of country music.
The event raised $90,500 and since the organization’s inception in 2005, over $822,000 has been raised to directly help over 450 families along with several local charities and local school programs.
Brice Long, founder of the Back to Back Foundation, told the News Edge he was happy to be back at the Alhambra after 30 years.
The foundation primarily helps families at Christmas-time and helped 82 families in Trigg, Christian, and Todd counties last year. Long said the organization would soon identify the families they will assist this holiday season.
Saturday night’s show featured Long and other Nashville songwriters Marla Cannon-Goodman, Josh Martin, and Phillip White.
