A Thompson Station, Tennessee, man was charged after he assaulted his wife and a man in a home on Oak Ridge Road Saturday morning.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say they were called to the area for 39-year-old Luke Huntzinger and another man fighting with a gun involved.
Huntzinger reportedly was assaulting his wife and smashing her head into a wall, when another man attempted to stop him they got into a physical fight leading to injuries to his eye and nose.
Police say the man then grabbed a gun and tried to make Huntzinger leave before they got into a fight over the gun and Huntzinger fled the home
During the fight, Huntzinger’s wife and four children in the home hid themselves in a bathroom and called for the police.
Huntzinger is charged with public intoxication, first-degree wanton endangerment, second and fourth-degree assault.
