Both the Trigg and Christian County clerks received a clean AUP audit for the 2020 calendar year.
State Auditor Mike Harmon said Trigg County Clerk Carmen Finley’s office and Christian County Clerk Michael Kem’s office underwent the agreed-upon procedures (AUP) engagement in place of an audit of their fee accounts. Both involved looking at receipts and disbursements, excess fees, recordkeeping and leases, contracts, and liabilities from January 1 through December 31, 2020.
Neither report listed exceptions that the county offices needed to implement.
