School Consolidation To Rely On Business Input

As the Christian County Public Schools prepare for three community forums in the coming weeks, they are continuing to meet with groups to discuss the possible High School Consolidation. Tuesday night, Superintendent Chris Bentzel and his staff met with the Christian County Agribusiness Committee.

Bentzel says the new model will take advantage of community expertise, much like the agriculture departments are already doing.

click to download audioCommunity Forums about the high school consolidation will be held July 26 at Christian County Middle School, August 2 at Crofton Elementary School, and August 12 at South Christian Elementary School. All starting at 6 pm. Hunt says it will be live-streamed and there will be a form soon offering a chance to ask questions if you are unable to attend.
