A teenager was rushed to the hospital after a shooting on Coleman Street in Hopkinsville Thursday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police were called to Coleman Street near the intersection of East 18th Street for a 17-year-old male that was shot in the ankle just after 6 pm.
The teenager was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center to be flown to another hospital. The full extent of his injuries was unknown.
Several shell casings were found in the roadway on Coleman Street at the intersection of East 17th Street.
