A wreck on US 79 in Todd County sent an Indian Mound, Tennessee, woman to a Nashville hospital Tuesday morning.
Todd County Sheriff’s deputies say 61-year-old Phyllis Mink was northbound about a mile from the Logan County line when her vehicle crossed into the southbound lanes of traffic. Her vehicle hit a dump truck driven by 23-year old Tyler Carnell of Falls Of Rough.
Mink’s car traveled about 240 feet before going down a ditch and into a deep ravine. She was extricated by the Todd County Rescue Squad and flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
Carnell was not injured in the crash.
